Handmade to order, the Heirloom by Ironclad Co. is, quite simply, the world's finest cast iron.
This extraordinary skillet features Ironclad's trademark Antique Finish™ — an unequalled cast iron surface inspired by antique cast iron made in the 1800s. This immaculate finish impossibly covers the entire surface of the Heirloom. In a world of cookware, this is a work of art.
Cast into the base of the 100% recycled iron is Ironclad's unique Three Generation Guarantee®. On the Heirloom, this contract can be personalised to feature a name, date, and a short message.
If you choose personalisation, our team will be in touch after purchase to design the base and message together.
Given the labour intensive nature of the process, orders take approximately 6 weeks to deliver.
Each month we produce a limited number of Heirlooms. Orders open on the 1st of the month. There is usually a waitlist, so sign up for notifications to secure your Heirloom today. No deposit is needed.

The Ironclad cleaning ritual is quick and easy:
- Wash: Remove any residue with a brush, dry cloth or paper towel.
- Warm: Heat the pan on low to enhance seasoning absorption.
- Oil: Rub a teaspoon of oil or conditioning balm onto the entire surface.
- Heat: Increase to high heat for 10 seconds to sterilize.
- Done: Let cool. Ready to use again and again!
