Variant: Olive Leaf Enamel

Ironclad’s 28cm enamelled cast iron Legacy Pan paired with a carbonised bamboo Serving Lid. Balanced and dependable, designed for everyday cooking and serving. Family meals, roasts, and weeknight dinners cooked and carried straight to the table.

The pan delivers steady, even heat on any hob, including induction and oven. Its satin enamel surface is durable, smooth, and simple to clean. No seasoning. Soap friendly. Built to last.

The Serving Lid is handmade from responsibly farmed bamboo, pressed under heat and carbonised for strength that rivals hardwood. Cross-laminated in three layers, it resists warping. At 28cm wide and 2cm thick, it sits flush on the Legacy Pan to seal in heat, or flips to become a trivet or serving board. Every lid is finished by hand. Strong. Renewable. Enduring.

Each Salt Stone piece is hand-flecked to create the soft, organic feel of stoneware. No two are alike. Irregular patterning is part of the process, a mark of the hand that made it. When you order a set, we bundle pieces with a similar look so they feel at home together.

Together, the Legacy Pan and Serving Lid make a set that cooks and serves beautifully. Practical in the kitchen. Built for the table. Made to keep.

USE & CARE

Enamel Legacy Pan

Wash in warm, soapy water. Use a soft cloth or gentle sponge. Rinse well and dry fully with a soft towel. Store in a dry place. If stacking, place a cloth between pans.

While Ironclad cookware can take almost anything, dishwashers strip, crack, and damage enamel. We recommend hand washing for longevity.

Legacy Serving Lid

Wipe with a damp cloth after use and dry thoroughly. Do not soak or leave in standing water. Hand wash only. Store in a dry place. Lightly oil when required.

For more detailed care instructions, visit our care page.

GUARANTEE

Enamel Legacy Pan

Every Ironclad enamel cast iron piece is backed with a lifetime guarantee. If your pan ever fails under normal daily use*, we will repair or replace it. Built to last, in colours made to be kept.

*Normal daily use means cooking like a sane person. We have to include this line in case someone throws their pan into the ocean and asks for a replacement.

With proper care, it will serve your family for years to come. We stand by our craft. If your Serving Lid has any issues with workmanship or quality, we will make it right. That is the Ironclad guarantee.

FAQ

What is the set for?
Cooking and serving every day. The Enamel Legacy Pan delivers steady, even heat in a balanced shape made for family meals. The bamboo Serving Lid seals it in, then flips to serve at the table.

Can both go in the oven?
The Pan is oven safe up to 300°C. The Serving Lid is bamboo and not oven safe. Use it to seal heat on the stove, then serve.

Do I need to season the pan?
No. The enamel surface is smooth, strong, and naturally non-stick. Just wash, dry, and cook.

Can I use metal utensils?
Wood, bamboo, or silicone is best. Light use of metal will not hurt the enamel. Avoid sharp edges that can chip.

Are they dishwasher safe?
We recommend hand washing both. Dishwashers reduce the life of enamel and bamboo. Warm, soapy water is best.

Will the Serving Lid warp or crack?
It is carbonised under heat and pressure, then cross-laminated in three layers for the strength of hardwood. With care, it will last for years.

Is it covered by the Three Generation Guarantee®?
The Enamel Legacy Pan comes with a lifetime guarantee. One human lifetime. The Serving Lid is covered by the Ironclad Quality Guarantee. The Three Generation Guarantee® belongs to our seasoned cast iron range. Each piece is cast with the guarantee in the iron. A warranty to last your lifetime, your children’s, and your grandchildren’s.

If it is part of a set, we will replace the part that failed.

To claim, all you need is the product warranty.
And we have handily cast it into the base of every Ironclad Pan.
Just turn it over. Unless you are cooking in it. Then we suggest emptying it first.

Legacy Pan Shorter

Every pour is quality tested to ensure that our cast iron is pure enough to cook with.

In Australia and New Zealand, the cast iron industry remains unregulated, with no specific standards for "Food Grade Cast Iron." While we are working to change that, it’s currently up to each manufacturer to ensure their products are safe. At Ironclad, we choose to meet the highest global standards for cookware, including the requirements set by California Proposition 65 and the FDA.

Handcrafted with the same care & quality that has defined cast iron cookware.

Inspired by vintage cast iron pieces from the 1800s, our signature finishing techniques create an elegantly smooth surface that feels almost like ceramic. By carefully grinding and polishing the cooking surface and base, we can create cast iron that is both naturally non-stick and gentle enough for even the most delicate cooktops, including induction.

With every Heirloom pan, you receive lifetime access the Ironclad Vault.

The Ironclad Vault is a secure digital platform that stores your Ironclad Guarantee alongside your family’s most treasured recipes. As part of a thoughtful gift, the Ironclad Vault can also be preloaded with recipes and messages from friends and family. For weddings, anniversaries, or milestone moments.

Your purchase not only nourishes your family, it also helps feed a family in need.

A portion of the profit from each Ironclad Cast Iron Pan sold goes to KiwiHarvest, a charity dedicated to rescuing surplus food and distributing it to people facing food insecurity. At Ironclad, we challenge throwaway culture through the concept of 'generational shopping', creating products that last and stay out of landfill.
