Make Two Mother's Days

One right here.

One on Bundjalung Country.

Until Sunday, for every Ironclad purchased, we’ll gift one to a mum and bub supported through The Returning’s Mother Care Program.

The programme is run with Mindy Woods, Ironclad partner, Widjabul Wia-bal chef, restaurateur, author, and founder of Karkalla.

Mindy’s work begins where good food should begin. With Country. With culture. With care. With the understanding that what we eat is never just what we eat.

Through The Returning’s Mother Care Program, Indigenous mothers and families are supported during the tender weeks after birth. The programme offers a six-week postpartum meal service, with nourishing meals made using native ingredients, organic meats, and vegetarian and vegan options. It also includes Indigenous Mother Care workshops, designed to help mothers feel held, fed, and connected at a time when care is not a luxury.

Until Sunday, for every Ironclad purchased, we’ll gift one to a mum and bub supported through the programme.

One for the person you call mum.

One for a mum and bub on Bundjalung Country.

Buy One. Gift One.

We are fortunate to be working with the talented and passionate Mindy Woods. When we found out more about the amazing work she is involved with in her local community, we wanted to offer our support too.

For tens of thousands of years, First Nations women have held knowledge of food, care and community. On Bundjalung Country, that knowledge lives in how we gather and share food - not as a task, but as responsibility and love. Our matriarchs understood that nourishment goes beyond the plate, especially in postpartum, when mothers were traditionally wrapped in care, rest, and support from the women around them. This is ancient knowledge, where food is medicine, and care is shared. Through The Returning, these practices are being reclaimed, creating spaces where mothers are supported through community, cultural care, and nourishment.

Our partnership with Mindy and The Returning's Mother Care Program reflects something timeless. Cookware is more than a tool - it’s a vessel that carries story, memory, and connection across generations.

So between now and Mother’s Day, every Ironclad purchased helps extend that circle of care - placing a piece into the hands of a mother supported through The Returning.A simple act, but one grounded in something much deeper: a collective return to valuing care, community, and the enduring knowledge of women who have always known how to feed, heal, and hold the next generation. This is how we return to what we’ve always known.Cooking care back into community.
